Terms & Conditions
Service Agreements
Vanguard Outdoor Service operating as Precision Grounds ("the Contractor") provides professional landscaping and snow removal services based on the agreed-upon scope of work detailed in individual service contracts. All residential and commercial agreements are subject to these terms.
Quotes & Payments
All quotes provided by Precision Grounds are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issuance. Payment for services rendered is due within Net 15 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified. Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges or suspension of recurring services.

Cancellations & Property Access
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of any scheduled landscape service. Clients must ensure clear and safe access to the property on service days. Failure to provide access may result in a service fee or rescheduling delay. Precision Grounds is not responsible for unfinished work if access is restricted by locks, pets, or debris.
Liability & Warranty Policy
Precision Grounds maintains comprehensive liability insurance for all operations. We provide a limited warranty on workmanship for a period defined by the specific service contract. Liability for accidental property damage must be reported within 24 hours of service termination. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, underground utilities not marked by the client, or extreme environmental factors.
Snow & Ice Limitations
Snow removal services are weather-dependent and subject to extreme local conditions in the Halifax region. Precision Grounds will utilize best efforts to clear snow and manage ice within the timeframes specified in the service tier, but does not guarantee a 'slip-free' environment. Clients recognize that icing can occur rapidly following clearance due to temperature fluctuations.

Safety & Assurance
Vanguard Outdoor Service operating as Precision Grounds is dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining the highest safety standards for your property.
Liability & Damage Policy
While we take extreme care, Precision Grounds is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, irrigation systems, or items left in the service area. Liability for property damage is limited to instances of gross negligence by our staff. Client must notify us within 24 hours of any suspected damage at vanguard.outdoorservices@gmail.com.
Snow & Ice Risk Disclaimer
Snow removal does not guarantee an ice-free surface. Variable weather conditions, freeze-thaw cycles, and property drainage can cause rapid ice formation. Precision Grounds is not liable for slip-and-fall incidents or accidents resulting from natural ice accumulation or weather-related property hazards.
1-Year Workmanship Warranty
We stand by our quality with a 1-year warranty on workmanship for all structural building and landscaping installation services. This warranty covers defects in craftsmanship but excludes damage from adverse weather, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear. For warranty claims, contact us at 902-449-7365.
